I’ve been thinking a lot lately about lifestyle blogging and this still young and growing industry.
Unlike fashion or beauty blogs, which have a specific focus, lifestyle blogs are unique combinations of interests that each lifestyle blogger brings together.
For a few years now, I feel like I’ve naturally aligned myself with the label “lifestyle blogger” rather than “fashion,” even though that’s where I started in fashion.
With this lifestyle change, rather than a specific topic, I feel like I can better share a “portfolio” of topics that interest me at this time in my life.
In today’s post, I’m going to dig into what lifestyle blogging means to me and how I achieved the “Milicon” of lifestyle blogging.
Life.

What is a Lifestyle Blogger?
First, what is a lifestyle blogger?

By definition, a lifestyle blogger is a curator of personal interests and daily activities.
So no one needs to define your lifestyle blog but you. Your website will be unique and you will find your readers and expand your audience based on the fact that you personally choose to share their interests and activities. I like to think of this selection as your “combo”.

As my life changed, I subconsciously turned to lifestyle blogging. From a twenty-year-old blogger to a twenty-seven-year-old blogger, there are many decisions, evolutions, and changes in life.
I’m not the only fashion blogger feeling the shift in content.
